It’s winter, and in Utah winter is finally hitting us in February (kind of odd for state that claims the greatest snow on earth) and this weather hasn’t helped the already insane cold and flu season this year. That being said, I’ve been searching for ways to keep my immune system in good shape through dietary habits. So this weekend, I made an immune booster smoothie that was super delicious and full of all natural vitamin C and ginger so I just had to share.
- 3/4 bag of frozen pineapple
- 3/4 bag of frozen mango
- 1 Tbsp Ground Ginger (in spice form)
- About 8 Cups of Orange Juice (about twice as much as you see in the picture above)
- Blend (on puree & liquify settings)
I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did, and stay healthy these next couple months. I’m so ready for springtime! But until then, this smoothie is going to be a weekend staple I think.
