Rugs are such an essential part of a design, they add color, pattern, texture, warmth, and style to a space. But they can get pretty pricey and for those of us trying to fully decorate our homes, we usually want to work within some sort of a budget. So I have compiled a list of my Top Five Favorite Affordable Rugs, including project photos of some of the spaces I have used them in, as well as pricing and links to each of them.
Now on Sale for only $168. I’ve used this rug in more masculine or gender neutral spaces, and paired with more eclectic, rustic modern, and industrial decor. My favorite space I’ve used it in is in Boston’s Room in the Farr Project (see photo below).
Now on Sale for $129. I love organic texture and this rug is the epitome of that! It has a very rustic boho southwestern vibe to it.
Now on Sale for $228. This rug is one of my go-tos if I want to add a little touch of color in a space.
Now on Sale for $228. This one is one of my go-tos if I’m really wanting to make a statement with color in a space. It steals the show in the main living space of the Harrison project (photo below).
This is my absolute, number one, favorite rug, I will probably buy one for my own home at some point. It just looks good with everything! It’s now posted at $730, but it is not on sale or in stock right now. If you like this rug as much as I do, I would sign up for email alerts for when it comes back in stock and then for when it goes on sale. I’ve used this rug for several clients so far in formal living spaces and when they drop that price down to $500, it’s well worth it! I guarantee it!
My last two cents, if you really want to transform your space with one single item. Get a rug.
